The Sac State Jazz Singers, directed by Kerry Marsh, sing Marsh's arrangement of Miles Davis' "Four", using Jon Hendricks' vocalese lyric and an extensive four-part soli section. The Jazz Singers for Fall 2010 are (L to R) Gaw Vang (lead sop), Katy Sullivan, Alicyn Yaffee, Emily Messick, Karen Cacho, Casey Lipka, Natalie Geeter and Courtney Anderson, and the rhythm section is Krista White (piano), Michael Shernan (guitar), Alex Reiff (bass) and Pete Agraan (drums)

  • it's nice to hear a version with lyrics. phat arrangement mr marsh! props to the fourth soloist (is that natalie?) not to mention the rest of the soloists in the group.
