Quinoa is a grain renowned for its protein content, with a complete set essential amino acids and a good amount iron, quinoa is a healthaliciousness staple that is a snap to make. For this recipe we will need one cup of quinoa and two cups of water. It will serve 2-4 people.

***NOTE***
If you acquire quinoa outside of North America be sure to soak the quinoa for an hour or two, then change the water and soak again and rinse the quinoa to prepare it for cooking. This process will remove the saponins and ensure that the quinoa will not be bitter.

  • @rydag11 Quinoa in North America has been soaked and cleaned to remove the saponins, but rinsing is probably a good idea, thanks for your comment. Also, if you read the info for this video, Quinoa purchased outside of North America needs to be soaked and rinsed to remove the saponins.
