Connect to MySQL via SSH

This video explains how to connect to your remote MySQL database through an SSH tunnel with the help of PuTTY. Note that some hosting providers may forbid the SSH access to your account. However there's still a way to connect to your remote database. That method is achieved with an HTTP tunnel but for any details I should create another video. @Asking4SomeQuestions well that means that putty cannot establish connection to the remote server with the provided settings. Check if the is the server is accepting ssh connection on other port than the default (22). You may have to consult your hosting provider for that and if you have an ssh access at all. Good luck...

You also can use super network tunnel to do it, it support remote DNS.
