ODM has backed PNU in calling for the formation of new provinces.
According to lands Minister James Orengo the split is a step that should have been taken long ago to speed up the process of equitable distribution of resources and power. Orengo was speaking at his Ugenya constituency during a funds drive in his church.

  • PNU wants central province, which is slightly smaller than Nyanza to be divided into three while Nyanza is only divided into to two. The more deplorable part is that Rift Valley which is roughly ten times the size of central to be also divided into three. What are they using as a guide? Nyanza has more people and Rift Valley has roughly a million more people than central. PNU will not stop at anything to ensure that they manipulate resources to maintain the status quo.SHAME ON YOU!!!

  • PNU will intronduce a mbill in the parliament of creating new provinces as statend ambove- Kiingereza kweli kilikuja kwa meli!!!!

  • Why do we even need more provinces?

Why must the rich continue to enrich themselves whilst the poor are taxed more and oppressed?

  • And where is the money to maintain all these provinces? Where? Kenya isn't large enough?
