Manfield Open (Track days) Days 2001

These were the days! $10 for 15 minutes on Manfeild race track (mostly the long track). You could pass anywhere, you didnt need helmets, rollcages, race seats or race suits and you could take passengers.
This clip includes my brother (gold VW Golf GTI Mk1 1.6), my mate Jono (blue Opel Kadett GSI 2.0 8V) and me (red VW Golf GTI Mk1 1.8). All three of us are exkarters from the Hawkes Bay Kart Club New Zealand.
The cars were pretty standard back in this era apart from suspension and airfilters.
