First Important Note: The music is called "Flight" performed by Ty Unwin especially for this show. I'm sad to say that it is not currently available on its own. . Check out http://www.youtube.com...

Gary Powers has been dead for 32 years, maybe you should get your information straight before going toe to toe with cabi.

And what the hell does this have to do with anything, you said you didnt know if he was flying anymore, he's dead! Cabi was around when analogue gauges were around (and they still are) and still does neccesary work for the USAF, unlike you sitting on your ass spurting out facts from a fun book which have no relevance to the initial question, trying to decimate the work of todays pilots. What were you doing during the "real" generation of pilots?

"How High Can You Go?
The J57, capable of only 6% of its sea-level thrust while at it's operational altitude, became susceptable to flameouts, necessitating a 30,000 -foot dive to a restart." Ref: Mayday 1960 - Gary Powers U-2 Flight
These were the pre-bus driver U-2 pilots!

We call you bus drivers in the Marine Corps. You were three years old when I joined. So you're a post 1980's U-2 bus driver. Did lots of development work in the U-2 I suppose. Really pushed the envelope! By the time you showed up the party was over. You were flying tired old airframes with ridiculous restrictions on them.
