put some magnets on it and make some dc current.. what do you think?
-
another way of producing your own static is make your armature turn a fan in a seprit cyllander make of plastic and inclose it with circulating plastic dust it will create a lot of static to power itself.
-
if your armature is plastic ,you can put a synthetic duster material stationary in side of it. When it lightly rubs the inside of the cyllander it will make its own static.
Or have your armature thats spining turn a duster inside a stationary pvc pipe that is stationary the inside of the pipe is pos+ and the outside of the pide is neg-.

Electro-Fantastic!

@emo5derf Actualy, yes, you can do that. There is a device to store static charge, a "leyden jar". google it.

Svaka čast! Odlična izvedba

The caption of this video is in Serbian. It reads (roughly): This is an electrostatic motor which is driven by a nearby storm. One pole of the motor is connected to a "Windom" antenna, a classical radio amateur antenna, The antenna is high and extends from a water tower to the radio station. The other pole is connected directly to ground. Because of imperfect construction, the rotor cannot spin faster than 3000 rotations per minute, but that suggests the amount of energy around us.
