In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

  • That was really freaky. As soon as he mentioned the deck of cards, I automatically thought of the 7 of diamonds. Freaky!

  • Carrot ~= red

    7 = 7

    /o\ ~= Diamond

    I thought of a 7 diamond way before he drew a deck from his luggage. :|

  • Great performance. You have excellent control of your audience!

  • A couple of rather ordinary tricks elevated by extraordinary presentation. Very well done.

  • @alghq um, you didn't think it was real magic, did you?

  • @alghq um, you didn't think it was real magic, did you...?

  • The only unknown is if the volunteer ends up with the medal or the tag. If he ends up with the tag then the presenter would read out whats on the back of the picture instead of the volunteer...if the voluteer has the medal then the presenter asks the volunteer to read the picture. (Notice how the picture says "I am holding" and "you are holding" which means it is subjective to whoever is reading it out load.

  • That was not very interesting.... It does not matter what the guy chooses (the knife, the medal or the tag) ... the presenter was the one who told him to put the knife in the bag. I bet if he had chosen the medal first then the presenter would just say now you keep that, and when he got to the knife he then would have asked him to put it in the bag.

  • Man who is this guy...he's so talented ;)
