Yes, I found that part very disturbing on many levels. This was one of those moments where I felt a perceptive person could sense something was very wrong without any knowledge of current events. Hillary's mask was coming loose at that point.

You're right. I did! And he won the election. (Remember that at the time Hillary was considered the frontrunner.)

I didn't edit that out with the intention of protecting Obama and did it more for the effect of having that statement next to her laugh. However, it is very telling about our political system how this worked out in Obama's favor.

There is something very sinister in the background of these debates. The more you know, the more painful it is to watch them. While Gravel was still in the debates, he cracked open the corporate facade and revealed some of the ugly truth.
