I kind of have mixed feelings about all this "glamourization" of MMA. I think kids are getting the wrong idea of how things actually are. I think its good to get the sport into the mainstream, but not this way. I think it has done well enough via good fight cards and marketing. This just seems like another hype movie, for a sport IMHO that doesn't need any.

no not really...take away the music and effects..most of it is athletes trainnig...not glamourization

Karate kid done wonders for karate and martial arts as a whole and while these types of glmaorizations do attract an unwanted element it also does attract some people who will do it for life.

For the growth of the sport (and as a by product what also comes with growth) these types of movies are not bad....if they where B-movies would of killed kung fu :)
