Season 1, Episode 4 (4/27/1977)
Part 3 of 3

This episode investigates the mysterious Bermuda Triangle, that expanse of the Atlantic bounded by Miami, the Bahamas, and Puerto Rico. An area where ships and planes routinely disappear without a trace. An area filed with strange phenomenon, mysterious fogs, mists, erroneous compass readings, strange lights, and time warps. A place where these disappearances date from the time of Christopher Columbus. Believers and skeptics, eyewitness and scientists all give there views and theories on what is going on in that strange part of the Atlantic Ocean.

  • This may sound like a science-fictional comment, but it's possible that the Bermuda Triangle is some type of temporal anomaly.

  • took'em forever to find the Titanic & that ship was big as hell! yet no one thought it was supernatural how it went down & vanished.

  • @EndridCold Really? Look how small Washington state is? Use your head..

  • @Imachowderhead 50 light aircraft in 60 yrs? Absolutely nothing abnormal there, given the deep drafts in the Cascades. It does'nt compare with vanishing ships like the Cyclops or large aircraft like the B-52 lost while in a tight formation with other B-52's - or of the Chieftan that vanished while coming in for a landing in the Bahamas and in clear view of the tower.. There are so many incomprehensible occurances in that region that it goes beyond the pale of reasoning.

  • Look how vast the sea is, I mean there are so many ships, planes and what not lost in it that we will never find. I read that there have been 50 planes lost in washington state alone since 1950 that have never been found, and wash state is not really a big state. makes you wonder tho...

  • I love Leonard Nimoy's voice. His voice was to In Seach Of as Robert Stack's voice was to unsolved mysteries. :)

  • @ninalindacabron You may be right. And if you are, it's best that we just leave it be. But how do we avoid it in the meantime? Whereever or whatever it is, it's difficult to avoid it when we don't understand it.
