Finally - it's about time. Existing Landsat program has been in danger of losing continuous coverage for a while now. We desperately need an updated, reliable source for high quality remote sensing data.

All great! Not NASA's problem but gallons of water are used to irrigate cotton in AZ where it is harvested and shipped to China and returned to US as clothing, etc. *sigh*
