You know, the bottom line is this... You DO NOT need any book or any pastor or teacher to tell you or try and teach you anything! We have ONE Teacher, and He is the Holy Spirit of God! Read the Word of God and pray for understanding, and you will receive it, it's that simple. You don't need TBN, CBN, or any of the others. We NEED JESUS is what we need. Die to self, pick up your cross, and follow Messiah! The Holy Spirit will lead you into all truth. Fellowship with other members in the body!

To put Mark Driscoll in the same theological camp as Rob Bell or Brian Mclaren demonstrates a very serious misunderstanding. Criticism of style is fine, but Driscoll's message unflinchingly biblical (in contrast to Bell & Mclaren).

I agree with the previous post - Mark Driscoll is nothing to do with the New Age movement, but is one of the best & most faithful, balanced & practical preachers & dedicated pastors I've heard of. Lay off him! He's very clear on the difference between Emergent & Emerging churches - although i'm ashamed that we Christians can have such ridiculous & complex denominational distinctions, Driscoll has been careful to distance himself from what started innocent & has become apostatic.

yeah, i was with you until you brought up driscoll. I've been studying the Bible for over 12 years now, and I've never heard Driscoll stray from the Gospel! He simply preaches in a way that appeals to young ppl, and he is strongly against sex outside of marriage! i was gonna share and recommend the video until i saw that, you should update it, and leave him out! he has nothing to do with the new age movement, i assure you!!

I would have to agree with the previous posters. The attack on Driscoll was not warranted. In fact, Driscoll is probably one of the soundest pastors. He consistently meets with men such as John Piper and C.J. Mahaney.
