MsJuicy's Surprise Pregnancy Test...

4 1/2 - 5 weeks into this and I am at a loss for words. Please be sensitive. This was very unexpected. Although precautions were taken, the fact is I am pregnant! I just want to make it clear as to why I am unsure if I will continue my pregnancy. Being overweight and pregnant was not something I wanted to ever be. One of the reason for needing to get rid of this excess weight was to not only be healthy but TO HAVE A HEALTHY PREGNANCY LATER ON AND BE ABLE TO RAISE A FAMILY!!! How ironic. I've always wanted to be able to enjoy my pregnancy, as well as have a healthy one both for me and my unborn child. I cannot even think about the complications that may occur if I gain 30+ pounds. This has to be the HARDEST decision I have ever faced. I have bloodwork Monday Feb. 8th with my OB GYN. I will make my decision this week after I get the results and discuss everything with my Dr. tomorrow. Thanks for listening. Xoxo, Rebecca

i want to loose weight right now im a little bigger then you but if im pregnant ill just eat healthy you can loose weight while pregnant f your bigger you didnt have to terminate the pregnancy but it was your choice its over now anyways youd have like around a 7 month old baby by now if you kept it though

Sickening to end your child's life just because you want to lose weight. I am trying to get to a goal of 145 but because I suffer from PCOS, it's hard, and infertility is also something I cry about. If I got pregnant before I reached my weightloss goal, I would be ecstatic and so very happy. Selfish...

I always wanted children b4 i was 30 but i'm comfortable with the fact that might not happen. Tough call. On the one hand, if u choose not to proceed, you have a chance to enjoy new found health via weight loss and experience a little bit of life experience on your own. On the other, you'll prob fall in love with your baby and you can always have the procedure done afterwards. But raising kids is HARD. The issue really isn't the weight. It's about whether to be a parent yet or not. Take care =)

I also was overweight (about 80 lbs, so I weighed about 230) with BOTH of my pregnancies, but the dr only wanted me to gain about 10-15 lbs with each one, and it was not very difficult at all to stay within the weight limits. My girls were both healthy and fine, and after having the babies, I was able to lose the baby weight very easily ! There are MUCH worse reasons to not continue the pregnancy, although I DO understand that it was unplanned and a shock.
