@MiK1ng an mpc..i believe the mpc has no hard drive so no sample bang..,its basically a midi pad..so it requires a computer to be hooked up with sample banks and i also doubt it has much chopping capabilities so MPC is the way to go..but much more expensive..but worth it.. the mpd is basically a pad version of a cheap midi keyboard..done in the mpc pad style. hope that helps
well both mpc and mpd do the same thing its just ones a midi controller. But you should take a look into native instruments maschine. A fine piece of machinery.
