    I'd hate to burst your bubble but this song is not about Poland. This song is about the Siege of Bastogne in Belgium where the Americans fought, and defeated, a much larger German army. The eagle badges and the track's name; "Screaming Eagles" both come from the 101st Airborne Division which was one of the American Divisions that participated in the Siege.

    Half of the European countries have an eagle as their national emblem.

    This is a song about the 101st Airborne 'Screaming Eagles' who, with 22000 men, managed to fend off 54000 germans attacking Bastogne.
