Nope, this is the easiest swap you can do to these cars. The 350 is a direct drop and bolt in. It has the same physical dimensions as the original 305. That being said, I did have trouble maneuvering the hoist around the long nose. I had to take the front bumper cover off. Also had trouble with the new motor not firing up until i figured out that I had it timed wrong because the timing tab location on the new motor was not the same as the original. Typical rookie oversight.
