whats the difference between this model and the Roland TD4SX? is it just the padding?

@omarpz2004 Yep, SX has mesh heads. Module and setup is identical.

Hey Michael, one quick questio please.
I have the TD-4K myself, but I've seen people with the TD-3, and they can have a crash on the edge of the cymbal, and ride on the bow, but I can't do that with my TD-4K. Is it because the TD-4K does not support the double triggering, or can't I just figure it out?

@BandaDK TD-4K DOES support double triggering !!!! You need to check your connection and also, check the cymbal pad. Should be working just fine.
Good luck

is this any good for some rock??
because they seem to sound jazzy to me

Absolutely. There's more Rock- and BreakBeat kits in there than actual Jazz kits...
