  • There is some pain though. The first two weeks are the worst, but trust me you'll get through them. Being on a liquid diet makes things worse. You will feel some pain in you jaw as well as you'll have ear aches for a while. You're lucky you might be able to have invisalign because then you don't have to have the extra worry of the braces.

  • You don't have to be scared. They most certainly put you under for the surgery so don't worry. It's only been about a month and a half since my surgery so I'm still numb on my upper gums and parts of the roof of my mouth. This is because when they "broke" my jaw, really they cut it, they had to damage the nerves and muscles, etc. It's all healing, but it takes a while. I'll be numb for about four and half more months. It's a pain in the butt, but it's also a good thing because it reduces pain.

  • UUUGGGGHHHH IM SOOO SCARED! I want to get invisalign but the doc says my slight overbite will look more severe after straightening and that ill have to get surgery 8 months after starting invisalign... did it hurt?!?!? did they put you to sleep?!?!? oh god i hope they put me to sleep fuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!
