Satchel Paige could throw a baseball like no one else. But when he began his career in the 1920s, even the best African American players were kept out of the major leagues. Paige rose to stardom in the Negro Baseball Leagues--and waited for his chance to play in the "big show." Finally, at an age when most players retire, Paige proved that staying in the game pays off. Adapted for Brooklyn Blowback by David Kay, MLS. pt 2 of 2
@jclarencelove3rd Ashiarose's listed age is 25. I believe that counts as "adult." Furthermore, ashiarose insulted me (see above in case you hadn't noticed before). Maybe you were just having a bad day when you wrote that. I forgive you.

I would debate you at any time ashiarose -- and I would grind your puny brain into dust. You have no idea what you are talking about.

It's great to put this on Youtube! It's not often one would come across such a book or even be aware of its existence. More people should know about Satchel Paige and other players from the Negro Leagues!
