@mobius1aic ....McDonald's still continues to be highly profitable, and when you go looking for work, you might have to end up working for them which will be a cheap, low paying job. All the while McDonald's will have a deep lobbying hand in India's government to give them cheaper tax rates for the "sake of building more jobs" while increasing their detrimental influence on the market. It's part of the reason why such places do so well in poorer parts of the US.

@Padmanabher Giving such a large corporation with such world influence on the food market means they will have more relative control over their food prices and more say in your government. So while McDonald's may still have relatively cheap food, it may become necessary to forego typical foods you might make at home because of high prices and instead get McDonald's (because it is cheap and involves little work) which isn't as tasty and might be drastically worse for your health. All while...
