sounds like the hooter they put on NKP #765 if im correct the one thats on the 765 is from C&O Kanawha #2789

Excellent! Sure brings back memories of when my parents took me to Cass back when I was a kid (back in the 70's)! I definately need to get my kids there! 2010 Cass here we come! Thank you.

I think so too. Listen to the videos of the 765 with a C&O hooter, it sounds almost the same. They both have a very distinct bass tone that sounds different than an N&W whistle.

That's the same Hooter they had on Shay #5 when I was there in October, Brad had it on there. That's the exact same way I like to "quill" the whistles also!

Cass, West Virginia - one hour north leaving I-64 towards Snowshoe ski resort. Nearby is Greenbank WV home to some of the largest movable radio telescopes (satellite dishes) - you can tour that while there too.
