micros0ft likes to rip ideas....DIE MICROS0FT oh, ppl use some screen recorder i dont know what it is, and i have sound and print issues in ubuntu...and i ugraded to edgy cuz it's way faster to load then dapper (i got the dapper cd)

1ghz processor, 256 of ram and a ATI or nvidia graphics card should be enough, but it depends on wich distro you are using,
There is also aiglx, wich can be used instead of xgl. Some people say that aiglx is faster than xgl.
