  • to all the haters...open your mind as well as your ears...I'm always intrigued when an artist gives their interpretation of a song...Dolly hit this one outta the park IMHO...it's not blasphemy,it's emotion!

  • I don't really like Dolly, I've really disliked country music all my life, and I love Led Zepplin. That being said, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST COVERS I'VE EVER HEARD!!!!

  • Dolly!!!! You hit OUT of the park!!!!!!

  • God Dolly makes this song sooooooooooooo emotional. she brings a certain feeling to it that just makes it come alive. Thanks for posting it!

  • not nearly as eerie as led

  • U godamn right !

  • @camerowanna69 Funny. I may prefer Dolly to Led Zeppelin. I don't know, they're so different. Yet I admire boht. This is interesting, but it's not good. But she was alone, of course (Oh. Blasphemy is rubbish, Dolly becomes more and more religious. Now Christianity is responsible for mass-murder through the ages. Not the fault of the believe but of the leaders. You may believe in God, Goddess, Pantheism or nothing. Free choice, remember)?

  • @psychlyst Robert Plant called Dolly Parton after he heard this version to compliment her. He also said it is the only cover he liked and that the Gospel choir was a great touch. I am with you. I think this version is great. Everyone forgets there was a time when people wrote songs and various artists competed on the charts for dominance. "Volare": the song charted in the four times by different artists in the same year. Personally, I prefer Bobby Rydell's version.

  • Very nice performance. Dolly does a good job here. Congrats, girl!

  • @Korisoup Have you heard Heart / Anne Wilson do Rover or Rock n Roll???? She's very good. If you have not heard those versions, you should give them a listen. She does a couple more Zep songs as well.

  • Not digging it. It is too much like the original to make it stand out in the beginning. Dolly is a fantastic musician and I like the added violin. It has moments of really shining. I was hoping for better. She did a good job but needed more balls to take it a step further.

  • @byuhhancocks Dolly's a bona fide artist. Check her out.
