Was this supposed to be some kind of spoof or very desperate attempt at humor? You did every step in the process absolutely WRONG!! If I ever saw either one of you two clowns attempting to do a blood draw, I would physically remove you from the hospital and kick your butt on the way out the door.

As a phlebotomy instructor I am HORRIFIED by this video!!! Everything about this video is wrong from beginning to end. This is why doctors should NOT be drawing blood!!! They need to leave it to the professionals.

Draw the blood cultures first, anarobic then airobic otherwise you are going to contaminate a culture if drawing other tubes first, make sure that you first clean the culture bottle tops first with alcohol wipes. Never draw a CBC in an SST vail, draw it from a lavender top. Check your order of draw chart PLEASE!

He Did This All Wrong The Tourniquet Is On His Anticubital Area Like WTF! Its Suppose To Be ABOVE That Space And You Are Suppose To Palpate It First Before ou Swab And You Are Suppose To Swab In Circle And Then Make Your Way Out. He Went Up And Down You Basically Contaminatin The Site Again...SMH! Better Beta Be Glad He Didnt Suffa From A Hematoma :|

2. A CBC does not go in a clot activating serum separator tube
3. If you have to use a butterfly for his veins, you should stick to being a MD and just write words on paper. Leave the actual work to the professionals.

The worst blood draw I've ever seen...The order of the draw should have been blood culture fist and then the rest of the tubes (citrate-blue, serum-yellow, heparin-green, EDTA-mauve and so on). And the best site to draw blood is from the median cubital vein unless the vein is not palpable...
