Youmacon 2011 - Pokemon Card Nostalgia

I take a look back at an old card game I used to play.

I actually had that same card book when I was a kid. The cards were one of the first exposures I had to the Pokemon world. I used to love looking at the pictures of the Pokemon and reading about what they could do. Good times.

Nowadays, the only real cards I have is my Generation 2 import deck and some cards I got in an e-Reader booster pack (yes, I own an e-Reader.) I still own the Pokemon Trading Card Game for the Game Boy Color, and I do like playing it every now and then. I kinda wish they had localized the second one. It was essentially the same game but with new cards and new people to fight, but I guarantee you it would have sold well.
