I have a dell xps t500 that i have running windows neptune. but thats interesting that both of your pc's take such a long time to boot windows 2000. I have a compaq deskpro en that boots windows 2000 professional in 40 seconds to to the desktop and it has a pentium 3 and 256 MB of RAM.

@dan87951 I agree my sister had a 2005 Gateway and the power supply went out in it.
