Very pretty but for some reason they've never really excited me. I don't hate them but I don't really love them either...they're just there. I do enjoy and love their lifts though.

@varanu2008 It was Russians who gave them this music. You're insulting the wrong people, nice try though.

Yeah, about boy's costume one can say it is Romanian (and/or Moldavian) but girl's costume is rather a mixture between Hungarian style (the top) and kind of Ukrainian (the skirt). Thing is that the choreography is not Moldavian; one can find this kind of mixture of Russian/Ukrainian and Moldavian elements in official ballets of Sovietic Moldova, imposed upon people to denationalize them. They are fakes, not authentic folk dances from Moldova. The Americans just copied those official dances, ha!

Women always wear an apron over the chemise. This was initially a single piece of cloth wrapped round the lower part of their bodies and secured by a belt at the waist, as is still seen in the east and south east of Romania.

The girl's folk costume is not romanain at all :) more attention to the details please....
The basic garment for both men and women is a shirt or chemise, which is made from hemp, linen or woollen fabric. This was tied round the waist using a fabric belt, narrow for women and wider for men.

as usual, you americans are a bunch of ignorants, the music you are listening is a part of George Enescu's Romanian Raphsody, the "Ciocarlia" theme....moldavian folk dance???? please try to present the reality.....

Linichuk is ruining her students!!!!
Why? Tanith Belbin didn´t know how to skate like a champion before she came to Linichuk. It´s a pity though that judges are not rewarding their work now when they have the best skating of their careers.
