Bruce Majors' blog post giving Tea Party members a guide to DC was not racist, although it basically said to avoid black neighborhoods (I DID read the whole post). The post was, however, extremely ignorant, disrespectful, and flat out wrong towards people in my neighborhood (I live on the Green Line) as well as DC's immigrant community. Please listen in to hear my warning to Tea Party members who are coming to DC. Have a great weekend!
@stereokid
A lot of black people have no idea that DC was once mostly white and mostly safe. A byproduct of certain aspects of their subculture and education leads them to have a different perception. Often you will hear them claim to have lived in a neighborhood for 5 generations. Most people would think, "Wow, your family has lived here since 1885? No. They have lived there since 1955; but five generations of their family have lived in that house.

@NWsubmom I didn't see any racism in the video... he was just calling out someone for being ignorant.

most Tea Party members don't even know what they are fighting for bcuz people like glen beck hide the REAL problem from them...glen beck is phony for not calling out the real problem which is the federal reserve/world banksters/central banks/rothchild and rockefeller families... but instead the "elite" who own the media tell folks like beck to divide us on racism and other bullshit that dont matter...WE THE PEOPLE MUST WAKE UP THIS IS A TAKEOVER BY THE BANKSTERS WHO GOT THE 37 TRILLION DOLLARS!!

Omekongo, what did you mean by "The way we're changing up the city here now to fit certain people and not others, I guarantee it's not gonna look like this 5 years from now."? I hope you're talking about kicking out the criminal element from the neighborhoods, and not segregation.

@NWsubmom
Just because there are black members of the tea party doesn't mean it isn't racist. Not saying they are(leaving my personal opinions aside), just saying that having black members doesn't exclude them from being anti-black. There were also "blacks" who supported slavery and supported the confederacy...do you think that means these weren't racist institutions ?....there have ALWAYS been blacks who are racist against blacks

@NWsubmom
so what if he's not colorblind ?....I don't think anybody should be colorblind. I think we should acknowledge each other's cultural differences and respect and accept them anyway. Americans must rid themselves of this ideology that we must find a way to make everyone the same in order for them to be accepted.

I would also ask just WHY you are so defensive about living in DC?
I live in Chicago and YES there are parts where people who are visiting should not go.
Your comments are based on your opinion that ALL TEA PARTY members are RACIST.
Guess what some BLACKS are in the Tea-Party, but I suppose in your mind they are sell outs or Uncle Toms. Am I right?
You would consider MACHOSAUCE here on YT to be an Uncle Tom.
Am I wrong?

Even your title for this video a WARNING to Tea Party members coming to DC is HATEFUL and DIVISIVE!
It sounds like a THREAT.
Just what is your point besides your own racism.
