Those are great wheelies, but nobody has mentioned that you really need to wear some leathers or something. You go down with that sleeveless shirt and you'll be picking scabs for months bro! Nice job!

I know I know, and believe me I am wearing my gear all the time ..this one and one more was exeption..even on short trips i have my gear on...i took chance here....

I have a 2008. I was doing wheelies in 2nd. The easiest way is to put maximum preload on the rear suspension, then you can rev up to 8000 or so in 2nd and drop the clutch. So, I think this is less trauma on the bike than the 1st gear power method.

Are you doing situo wheelies or stand up ? I did try stand up. it just felt to me as ..hmmm how to describe..unnatural..maybe its just a mater of practice..can't tell
