  • @Dinosorable No you have to be 18 to pull the public I run train at the club and I'm 16, you can run the trains, you just can't pull public, I was 12 when I filmed this, and this was my first full year of membership

  • Fine sample of downsize steam here. Wonder if anybody has attempted to reproduce an Erie/Lima 2-8+8+8-2 triplex Mallet freighter on propane firing? (The engineer would be above the rearmost drivers and main water tank, and I suspect the primary cylinders, on the tender portion of the frame; both sets of secondary drivers would be under the boiler in that case).

  • @bcschmerker Yes someone has, it is an actual Mallet using the steam three times
