its a controller not a synthesizer. It does not produce any sound :P

yeah, you have to have vst instruments to hear sounds. A midi controller doesnt usually come with sounds in-built into it. They are just used to control the sounds that you load on your pc or mac.

do not work well with Cakewalk sonar 7 or 8 !!! that why we never see video with both working together
