Kirby Air Ride - Fountain of Dreams

The alternate tune to Nebula Belt which is unlocked after racing 300 laps across all the Air Ride courses. Fun stuff.

Now on to the song itself, this is actually an orchestral remix of the first track in Gourmet Race of Super Star fame. It and one other song have been widely considered to be the themes of King Dedede. The track known as "Gourmet Race" has reappeared as a stage song in Dreamland 3, the 100-Yard Hop theme in Kirby 64, all three Smash Bros. games, the Paint Panic theme in Canvas Curse, and most recently in Dedede's Castle stage in Epic Yarn.

Now the version known as the Fountain of Dreams originated in Melee as the song for the stage of the very area. It returned as the boss theme for, surprise, Dedede in the GBA remake of Kirby's Adventure. Its latest appearance was in Brawl as the other song for the returning Green Greens stage.

EDIT: The Air Ride version is practically the same as the one in Melee/Brawl just with a different looping point, recording quality, and acoustics. Thanks to DarkRain110187 for correcting me on this.

Well.., they sound noticeably different, but that doesn't mean the composition is different. They seem "very similar" because their composition is in fact identical. Aside from the acoustics and better recording quality, the only major difference in Air Ride's track is the way the song loops: the flutes and plucking strings segment got cut off to keep the pace racy; the segment after 2:28 should connect to 1:29-1:40 before looping back to 0:10.

Losing eleven seconds is just called a slight edit.
