CIVILIZATION - ONE WORD IS WORTH MANY PICTURES

A collection of images depicting the problems of civilization. WARNING, this is not a video for the weak of heart! Upon the realization that we, as a culture were in much more peril than we would admit to, I discovered literature regarding civilization and its detrimental implications. What a WAKE UP CALL! I do not adhere to the "bring down civilization now" mantra however, as I find it extremely defeatist, considering the dire consequences. Although we obviously require a major overhaul in our co-habitation amongst the other creatures within our fragile environment, I will not succumb to the "throwing of the baby out with the bathwater" scenario. I only present the worst case situation here to which we must attempt to prevent, our planet and culture demands it. We must adapt to nature not expecting nature to adapt to us.

Although I do agree people need to wake up and that we should do all we can to make things "better". This is all nature. Even war and slaughtering of animals. You can pretend its not and you can pretend there is some evil plan being played out but the truth is it is just nature. People are part of nature too. Do you really think people wake up and put their lucifer cap on and say, "Today Im going to do something evil!"? Probably not. If you do you are giving them power over you anyways.

This is a depiction of reality - no judgements.

We are what we are - having evolved (?) as all the other creatures.

With our intelligence - can we rise above it?

The manner in which we behave may in the very long run though, enable us to leave a doomed Earth, wreaking a very long and perhaps required train of destruction to justify our end.

Viruses behave in the same manner and no one accuses them of evil!!

and by living in cities and keeping the momentum building, we are torturing nature. This is something that is true whether anyone wants to acknowledge it or not. if you don't see how our little way of life is causing harm to nature then you are not looking very far.

Grammar Logic Rhetoric, when the human conscious begins to use these tools in that strict order, the world will morph into a better place for all living things dependent upon it.

These three words, Grammar, Logic and Rhetoric, are known as the "Trivium". A google search will explain what the "Trivium" is. Beyond that? I guess we are stuck with civilisation as depicted here.
