im still deciding whether to learn flute or saxophone. flute is an ochestral instrument wherby the saxophone is a solo instrument. mayb u can give me some advice or suggestions? i love ur playing alot

You can choose any of these instruments, because they are very close to each other, so you can later switch to another one. But it's quite wrong thinking which instrument is more soloistic. Flute is one of the most solo instruments ever, and indeed not only orchestral.

wow, both of them are quite close? which mean i can swith between them any time? sorry for the wrong thinking, still a newbie towards this things XD ok! thx for the advice!^

Yes their key system is quite similar, it doesn't mean you'll have no problem to switch to each other instrument, but they are much closer then any other wind instruments.
