George Carlin really was a genius who tried to warn us all. Kind of reminds me of General Smedley Butler who wrote that book, "War is a Racket." Unheeded, awakened men who did their best to wake up the sheep. Sad that there aren't more men like them.

This is already happening. Some of the stupidest fucking people I have ever met were in college. This equal opportunity thing has swung so far to the point that just about anyone can go to college. A bachelor's degree isn't special anymore. Employers don't give a shit that you completed a college education because it's equivalent to getting a fucking high school diploma. You could try going to grad school, but that's only a short term fix.

The key word here is "owners;" that is, private owners of productive property. Moreover, he is reminding us that owners of productive property do not want informed or educated workers and/or citizens. This describes the US perfectly: while most everyone is in favor of capitalism, they are clueless as to what it is. Most have swallowed what the owners want us to believe, namely that it is about freedom and democracy. And now they, the owners, are coming for our social security. Thank you George.
