Also the flag seems looks to be waving from its own inertial force, not the inertial and viscous forces of water. Not to mention water is not perfectly clear. Congrats China!

To me it looks like a piece of small debris being blown out of the partial vacuum of the air lock. The "bubbles" do not travel straight up or flutter the way they would in water. I am a conservative American and proud of it, and I have a competitive spirit toward US and China. But this looks like the product of honest hard work and progress. We shouldn't criticize their accomplishments because our space program has slowed down.

@howtobecomeitalian - It's called "spring physics". A metal rod will continue moving for quite a while on momentum when there is no air to stop it. The same thing happens on the Moon. Duh. Metal rods stop wobbling on Earth faster because air resistance stops them.
