kid thats nothing, its just running a little rich, heck my cherokee throws way more smoke then that, thats what i get for getting a chrystler though, and the 4.0 is known for reliability, and running rich.
if its a daily driver give it a tune up and oil change. Are you burning alot of oil? (check dipstick) As long as its running fine and not missing, etc I wouldn't worry too much about that.

I have been around Fiero's for years and I had never noticed the little chrome heat guard on the bodywork just above the exhaust exit...clever.

This vid is 2 yrs old so I'm not sure why I'm commenting.
But if you're still living with the problem, then I suggest doing a compression check. That may give a clue where the problem is.
I'd also switch to heavier weight oil until you can get the engine rebuilt. It probably needs it.

The engines in the first year they were made (1984) used to catch on fire. It was fixed in the later models.
