  • @turboguy327 i know this was 2 months ago but blue smoke is oil burning

  • I have been around Fiero's for years and I had never noticed the little chrome heat guard on the bodywork just above the exhaust exit...clever.

  • kid thats nothing, its just running a little rich, heck my cherokee throws way more smoke then that, thats what i get for getting a chrystler though, and the 4.0 is known for reliability, and running rich.

  • it probly sat for a while

  • its the valve guides leaking past at high rpm... Fiero Guru

  • This vid is 2 yrs old so I'm not sure why I'm commenting.

But if you're still living with the problem, then I suggest doing a compression check. That may give a clue where the problem is.

I'd also switch to heavier weight oil until you can get the engine rebuilt. It probably needs it.

  • The engines in the first year they were made (1984) used to catch on fire. It was fixed in the later models.

  • if its a daily driver give it a tune up and oil change. Are you burning alot of oil? (check dipstick) As long as its running fine and not missing, etc I wouldn't worry too much about that.

  • isnt this where you see blue smoke???

  • thats only the 84 fiero
