  • This is definitely one of Cybil's best moments in the show. I love Bruce in this scene too, it always seems that, even though David hardly ever shuts up (not that we want him too =D) he always says the most with only a few words or none at all, which is very hard to get across from an actor's point of view. Both of them = brilliance.

  • Cybill deserved an emmy for this monologue alone. She did some great work on this show.

  • one of her best scenes!

  • Bruce has always been good actor... but those early years like on moonlightening were his best ever...you never see him banter like this anymore in any of his movies.. it's almost like mel gibson gets to banter in most all his movies... i love these kind of actors... Gerard Butler is another good one...

  • This scene is so freaking cute...I love Cybill, she's so cute and vulnerable here.

  • Great monologue!

  • Maddie ( I'm- not- spontaneous) Hayes acts impulsively by flying to NY here. It's like the time she said she wanted to lie to a cop for David when in the previous episode she insisted she never lied. She makes no-sex pacts with David that she can't seem to keep. People hate Maddie. I feel sorry for her. Her brain dictated her life. Then David came along and it all went out the window. He rocked her world to the core. She runs to Chicago just to get away from him.

  • Cybil is a fantastic actress! She nailed this monolog.

  • They were both so good in this episode!

  • This is one of my favourite scenes from Moonlighting.

  • I never understood the criticism of this show or its talent. Everything about this scene is about as close to perfect as you can get. It still takes my breath away.
