Got the Kobra pretty much zeroed in. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I was a little difficult putting a 2 moa red glowing dot on a 4" circle at 100m but it was definitely easier than shooting with iron sights. All in all I was very pleased with its performance and repeated-able zero.

  • I'm assuming you must re-zero the rifle after you detach the optic from the side rail, correct?

  • @charlesaferg In theory you should re-zero any optic after it is moved or something had been changed on the rifle that could affect accuracy. Certain optic mounts out there claim no need to re-zero like some of the Larue ones. For this particular optic I'm not too worried about re-zeroing as much as I would be for say a 10x scope on a more precise bolt gun for example. For a red dot under 100 yards in an AK platform the zero is close enough for government work. Never hurts to re-zero though.

  • SHIT! thats better than I can do at 100 Yards with a 25x power scope and a match 24" match barrel!

  • @JimmyGunXD556 Well the bench rest helped at least.

  • Very nice Kobra sight. I want two now.......

    Thumbs up

  • that first 100m group is sooo tight lol

  • @noBuzzkillin I live in cali and just bought and picked up my arsenal 5.45 couple days ago. I too have a 7.62 saiga, and i was thinking baout converting a 5.45, but arsneal just does a way better job. Btw, does your deler have those nudered arsenals like the sgl-31 with a permanent raddlock? Because i got mine with that raddlock your screw on. Think i got really lucky with that.

  • @black1705f Well I have an Aimpoint M4 that I might mount to my 74.... Im debating.

  • @black1705f I don't know if you remember, but I did a conversion on my Saiga and have been shooting it for a couple of years now. Truly outstanding rifle. They've started allowing Arsenal's into Kalifornia now, and my dealer has one in stock, so I've been having a mental battle with the rifle for a couple of weeks now.. I think its winning. I'd really like to compare between the Arsenal and my hack job. Its also a 74, and I think i'd prefer that caliber over the 7.62x39.. Thanks for the vid.
