I made this video with our tribe working as actors back in early 2000 or so..

Anyways, here are some answers to questions I saw in the comments:

No, we did not use any mods for guns. Instead, Tribes2 was easily scriptable and I just modified the settings while running own host server. A lot is modified.. the size of different weapons, rates of fire, damage levels etc for more dramatic scenes. :D

@Pretendi first of all thanks for making this video back in the days... ;) IIRC a couple of DOF were seen from time to time on alt.games.starsiege.tribes (my name was [RS]Faramir.agst).

I tend to call anything that changes the game physics and/or look and feel MOD.

Since 'Goon Haven' (of somethingawful, a fowl website) has the only working T2 server, Tribes 2 is pretty much dead. Their server is for their little friends to play on and attracts other new players to their server. One thing they don't know.

'Goon Haven' is full of cheaters. They ignore infractions of people they know and kick or ban or screw around with new people.

Use Patch #1 with HM2 (Happy Mod 2).

For example all the sounds were made on silent movie scenes so it was a big task to finish this project. We had plans to make a sequel ten times better, but we only managed to "film" few scenes on custom backdrops and never finished it.
