It's really that quick and easy to do. The image size doesn't change, the file size does ;)

  • It will reduce image quality....

  • @Wilzu333 Only slightly, it depends on what file type the first image was

  • did not work , first it was 2.65 MB now its 1.65 mb :/ this si for my yt bg so i need lower than 256k ://

    help ?

  • @simpleJEditz Well it did work :P Perhaps use some online programs or crop the image? Try changing the file type to png or something by using Photoshop or Sumo Paint :)

  • Thanks the video was interesting but it wont change the size.... Might it be cause i already have the file jpg,?

  • @Denamime maybe it's been compressed already... try saving it as a different file type

  • mine was 1.17 now its 1.75 -_-

  • @errington1000 COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL I LOVE YOU

  • I have a file, did this, increased file size to 1 gb. WTF

  • makes the picture lose quality.

  • If this doesn't work for you for some reason you can try imageoptimizerDOTnet

    It sjust reduces file size

    Like if this helped

  • if it is an image you are going to want to do any modifications on then you should save it in a lossless format such as .png instead of a lossy format like .jpg Every time you make any change to a jpeg you lose image fidelity.
