  • @wolf3047 Copepoda can live in fowlr and so can these worms just make sure sure the tank is fully established, water parameters are in order and you provide food for the worms. Talk to your local fs about what food best suits the worm you choose

  • what are those little bugs crawling around in there lol

  • @romeonmya

Yes they are little amphipods and the tank is crawling with hundreds of these suckers. They are beneficial to the tank so im happy to see them when I do

see all

  • that's a great duster! have never seen one like it...what type is it?

  • i have a question, just started my saltwater tank. I got live rock from a friend abut 80 pounds or more and i didnt notice anything until 2 months later i happened to look at the rock and saw all these colors of baby feathers sticking out of rocks all over my tank.I thank i got about 20 or more of these things all over my tank how in gods name do i feed them, without messing up the nutrients in my tank and causing slime or algae...I love those things but it's way to many im not sure how to feed

  • I got one similar to this. Shall I bury it under sand and keep only the head outside?

I just put it in the sand. thanks!

  • @wolf3047 they dont need a reef tank, as in corals in the same tank as them, no. They just need the water parameters good like any other saltwater living animal. Just be sure to keep the salinty/ph/kh/ammonia/nitrite/nitrate/phosphate/etc. in acceptable amounts, and feed them plenty of phytoplankton

  • @wolf3047 And can Copepods live in FOWLR systems?

  • Do these worms need a reef tank? Or can i get one in a fully established FOWLR?

  • Do these worms need a reef tank? Or do i get one once my tank is fully established

  • Great video!!!!!
