The common bicycle-car right hook killed two cyclists in Portland, Oregon in 2007. What if it didn't have to happen like it does?

  • It looked like the bike lane terminated at that intersection. It started on the other side of the intersection again. The cross walk is not marked either so pedestrians also have no right way either

  • Why are you not teaching cyclists to simply control the lane to discourage right hook turns and other crossing conflicts at driveways and intersections. While it is true that Oregon's non-standard traffic laws encourages crossing conflicts, it is quite another thing to promote this type of high risk behavior in your video.
