I miss them, when they were first getting popular we went to see them at the Chimes at LSU.. in 94 I think...very intimate and close up and I'm glad I had the opportunity to see them in raw developing form only a few feet away...geaux girls!! We miss you.
Good lord, I knew this at the time, but it really strikes today that their arrangement, percussion, and layering was really impressive. You don't hear stuff like this today other than rarely, and it's often derivative when you do.
@prozacpeople its a sample (the drums break that is) from a jimi hendrix song. a tribe called quest used the same drum break for their song "scenario"
