Inspired by Sparklehorse, Yo La Tengo and Grandaddy, Jess Bryant sings with the same purity of voice as Joni Mitchell, but adds more of the dark, experimental sounds of the bands who influenced her, to create a unique, interesting sound. She claims her music sounds like "some folks being haunted in a forest at night", and is a fan of the Coen brothers and Virginia Wolf.

Don't miss her upcoming gigs at The Cross Kings on November 27th, and at the Ho Hum Records night at The Slaughtered Lamb on December 1st, and look out for her EP that will be out soon.
