FYI: Last Sunday, Milwaukee County Supervisor Peggy West was on a local radio program, where she said that she was a member of the Economic & Community Development Committee and the Finance & Audit Committee. And works with a budget of "8 BILLION DOLLARS"
After a long pause she said "I think its 1.8 billion dollars." and added, "I'm not good with numbers."
The actual budget is $1.4 billion.
Hold the phone... She sits on Finance and Audit Committee, and she is not good with numbers?

in the 80's as teens and "rebels" we were sure that there was a dumbing down of americans that had been noticed (even by us teens) by liberals. rarely did i consider that "silly teen opinion" as being wrong. ronald wilson reagan was/is not the anti christ 666, as well as most other opinions i held, just plain ignorant. we did hit this nail on the head. the dumbing down, we were right. shame on us. we knew, we did'nt educate, we let them win. we have failed, we are to blame. we will pay.
