http://www.fittwarehouse.com (Explosive or Dynamic) This is a continuation of the the other pulls demonstrated in our other videos. Unlike the clean snatch pull, this particular exercise includes pulling with your arms to finish the movement.
Perform a standard pull. As the bar reaches your thighs, continue by pulling your elbows up toward the ceiling. The end of the pull should have your elbows in a position where they are slightly higher than your shoulders, your hips extended, and your feet plantar flexed (on your toes). This is a great preliminary exercise to the power clean or hang clean.
FITT Tips:
Your arms should stay extended as long as possible; the bar will be traveling past your thighs and shrug movement should precede the pulling of your arms.
