The AF is at 4'8" tonight.

The first few times over this, and some other subsequent times when I am standing still at one of the 'handler positions', she throws a 3rd stride in. When I am running with her she seems to be consistent in her 2 strides on the down side.

We will be spending another couple of days at this height but I think she's really trying to figure it out! She did her 'mat' one time when I didn't say "toes" -- silly girl!! :)

  • Very awesome! It really made me think about human eyesight, how we miss so much, yet we 'think' we see everything. The slow mo shots of Josie are soo beautiful- you could put this video in an art museum!

  • Awe, you flatter me so!! Thanks a million!! :)

  • Some of her reps towards the end look great where she's only doing two strides on the downside. You can tell she's thinking and trying to be careful, which is probably why she was doing all the stutter-stepping in her earlier reps.

Was she driving down the backside more towards the end because you started putting the ball out in front of the A-frame instead of throwing it? Or was she just getting more confident in knowing what you wanted?

  • It's because I finally remembered to put the ball out in FRONT!!! :)

  • Very good! I can't wait to see the running A-frame when it is finished!

  • Good progress from one day to the next! Looking good!

  • Oh, and by the way. I love the random Ivie run-bys. Very cute.

  • Wow, that made a huge difference. Went from about 4-6 touches on the downside to 2. BIG difference. I definitely think the ball in front is going to make a big difference for Siryn and me, too.

  • Amazing running a-frame training! wow! Should turn out great when it's all finished.
