This video shows how to farm Vaettirs at Jaga Moraine fast and efficiently after the February 25th, 2010 (wrong date on video :P) update where Shadow Form was nerfed.

Attributes:
Shadow Arts 12 + 1 + 3
Smiting Prayers 12
Deadly Arts 3
Equipment:
Max Armor
Full Blessed Insignias
Any Vigor Rune
Attunement on the rest
+5e 20% enchantments martial weapon
+10 vs earth shield
Use exactly that equipment or you will probably die. Timing is a key factor for survivability. Do not stop moving until you can recast Shroud of Distress, that will lower dmg received a lot. I wait to recast both Shadow Form and Shroud of Distress with Deadly Paradox for timing, and because if you recast Shadow Form while doing dmg, it will cap again at 26 and you won't kill them in one use of your smites. Always let your health drop a little more than half so you can use "By Ural's Hammer!" making sure it will last twice as long.

nomatter wat i do i end up dying like ill gathe up amob and then ll cast the 3 damage skill (i have shadowform,shroud of disress casted) and nomater what my health goes down plzhelp

They did something to that farm today, my smiting skills kept dealing 26 dmg insteand of 28 - 32, and i often died because their damage went back to 7-8 per vaettir. I did it exactly like last days whre my damage was 28-32 like your vid.

@Hekatos82 As from May 21, 2010 update...
Fixed a bug that allowed characters with Shadow Form to exceed its damage cap with some skills. :S
You can still switch "By Ural's Hammer" for Great Dwarf's Armor and kill them in two uses of your smites without dying.

Does it make a difference if it's shield or focus?

@runevirage Actually it does! That is because even if you don't meet the requirement for the shield, you actually get half of the armor it provides. For a max shield (Armor 16) you still get 8 armor if you don't meet the required attribute. So that would make a difference.
